This will, as usual, be a social mixer, those who attend are asked to bring finger food appetizers to share and beverages of choice, as desired.
Join Mitra Cline of Foreverbird Studio for an informative talk and discussion about the use of social media for marketing your art and communicating your message.
Guest speaker Mitra Cline, artist and entrepreneur, will be discussing the question: What is social media and how can it help artists market and sell their art? This beginner’s introduction to social media will cover such topics as “How to protect original content, copyright, and fair use,” “How to do word-of-mouth marketing and build credibility,” “How to organize contacts,” ” Tools, maps, and plans,” and “Basic reports and analysis.” Ms. Cline will leave time to answer questions during and after the presentation, so that those new to the topic will be able to leave with a better understanding of the use of social media.
